A booklet published by the campaigning group Dignity in Dying (DiD) has claimed that Oregon's 'Death with Dignity Act', which permits doctors to supply lethal drugs to terminally ill people who are thought to meet certain criteria, is "thoroughly monitored and controlled by stringent eligibility and qualifications processes".  In this analysis we subject this and other claims to evidence-based scrutiny.
