The select committee, which examined Lord Joffe's 2004 Assisted Dying for the Terminally Ill Bill under the chairmanship of former Lord Chancellor Lord Mackay of Clashfern, published its report in three volumes. Volume I provided the select committee's analysis of the evidence it had received and its recommendations. Volume II recorded all the formal written and oral evidence taken by the select committee. Volume III contained a small selection of the 14,000 letters or other private submissions received by the select committee. All three volumes are published on this website. Volume I can be accessed here.
